Organizational to the TUMLabThe TUMLab is laid out for groups at 8 to 16 participants. It offers 16 places: eight tables with two PCs. In most courses a collaboration is intended in two participants per team. School classes or groups with more than 16 participants are split in two groups. A group books the course in the TUMLab in the morning, while the other group finds out in the museum. At noon both groups change. Even one or two participants more constitue a problem, because we have only 16 chairs and no other seats in the TUMLab. A group to 16 participants can choose between a 3-hour (half a day) and a 5-hour course (full time). Groups with bigger number of participants must book the TUMLab all-day to accommodate two courses by 2.5 hours. The costs amount to 105 € for the half day and 145 € for the whole day course, regardless of the number of participants. The price of the whole day course likewise counts to school classes, provided that the educational care is taken in the exhibition (museum), e.g., from an accompanying teacher. With some courses cost of materials results. For it the participants may take her work with home. The course beginning is up for the whole day course 9:30 agreedly. With half day courses can be chosen between in the mornings or in the afternoon. Course beginning is 9:30 or 13:00 o'clock. The TUMLab is bound to the opening times of the museum. Till the latest 16:45 o'clock all participants must have left the lab, a lengthening of a course about this time is not possible. The registration to the courses occurs on the Internet. A calendar shows you whether your desirable appointment is still free or the TUMLab is already booked during this day. (green = freely, yellow = aloof, red = occupied). They decide on a course and fill the registration form. The dispatch of the on-line registration books her appointment. Afterwards they send us the printed out and signed form as a fax. We confirm your appointment and book you obligingly. Single registrations can be taken into consideration only under "special offers". Indeed, courses with single registration are offered only very irregularly. |
